On 5th December, Minister of Finance and Economy of Ajara A.R. Davit Baladze opened Ajara-Silesian Business Forum at Hotel Radisson Blue Batumi. The event was dedicated to investment climate of above-mentioned regions and was attended by the Mayor of Batumi, Chairmen of Ajara and Silesia Chambers of Commerce and Industry and other senior officials. After the welcome speeches, investment opportunities of relevant regions, as well as the projects of leading Silesian companies were introduced to the audience through several presentations. The second part of the forum was provided for B2B meetings where representatives of Batumi based Georgian and Silesian companies shared their experience and business contacts in prospects of future partnership. Sectors of transport and logistic, construction and construction materials, food production and legal consulting were represented by 30 Georgian and 10 Polish companies at B2B section.
